Welcome to Hack New Haven at the University of New Haven! This is an in-person premier hackathon for the region. Join us for a weekend of innovation and collaboration as we explore the theme of reaching for new heights in technology and beyond.
HackNewHaven is the University of New Haven’s student-led hackathon, designed to bring together undergraduate and graduate students (or recent grads) for a weekend of intensive creativity, collaboration, and technical growth on campus. The event in-person, free to attend, beginner-friendly, and features themed challenges, mentorship, and prizes. Students have built web apps, AI tools, games, and more within the hackathon framework.
All participants must be at least 18 years old and a student of some university (or a recent UNH graduate within less than one year). Teams may be comprised of up to five members. A team may only submit one project, and no participant may be a member of multiple teams. All participants must bring a valid form of identification.
Projects should be original works created on site. Coming with an idea in mind is perfectly fine, working on an existing project is not.
